This Retreat can be customised to fit group needs, and can also be run on any other dates for groups of 10 persons or more. The Retreats are led by a team of professionals, dedicated to excellence, and guiding participants through a life-transforming experience of self-discovery and personal growth.

 

 


Radhika Vachani is an Author, a Motivational Speaker and also the Founder of Yogacara Healing Arts.

A devoted student of the Iyengar School of Yoga for 15+ years, Radhika quit her successful corporate career to start Yogacara in 2010, after having experienced life-transforming changes with the practice of Iyengar Yoga. She began Yogacara with the intention of enhancing human wellness and spreading the authentic practices of Yoga and Ayurveda.

The Living Yoga and Meditation Retreats are a life transforming experience that takes a student through fundamental aspects of both the physical, and also the life practice of Yoga. Radhika's teachings are about developing a strong, healthy and alert mind and body, through muscle awakening, body opening and breathing practices. She also supports her students extend their practice beyond the walls of the studio and into daily life, living yoga as a life practice.

HOW DO WE FIND PEACE, PERMANENCE AND CERTAINTY IN A WORLD THAT IS, BY ITS VERY NATURE, IMPERMANENT, UNCERTAIN AND VOLATILE?

The reality is that we experience our entire lives through our minds-all our experiences of pain and pleasure, satisfaction and dissatisfaction stem from right here. If we are to live more happy and fulfilling lives, then we must do what is needed to bring order to our minds, and make it a fit instrument with which to manoeuvre this world.  

In this Retreat, participants will also develop greater knowledge of the Yoga Sutras, the essential instruction behind the practice of Yoga, that describes the power of the human mind as it achieves greater stillness. Students will develop greater awareness of their minds, while also experiencing simple, practical breathing and meditation techniques, if practised daily, will significantly enhance one's ability to be more present and mindful, while learning how to deal with all of life’s circumstances more skillfully.
